Lately, I've been playing around with learning how Lately, I've been playing around with learning how to create half-drop repeat patterns in Photoshop - it's been a bit of a struggle if I'm frank. But I really want to master an efficient way of building half-drop repeats in PS because I feel they make patterns look so much better. The repeat is usually not as evident in half-drops and creates a more balanced design overall. I got some advice from an art agent not too long a I got some advice from an art agent not too long ago who said I should include more floral placements in my licensing portfolio. She also gave me a bunch of other pointers, which I've been slowly working into my illustrations. I tried to channel a little of @bydylanm way of constructing bouquets because I love how non-symmetrical they tend to be and yet they are always so harmonious with full of visual interest.
